Recall Summary

 

Name of Product: Organic Wintergreen Essential Oil

 

Hazard: The product contains the substance methyl salicylate which must be in child resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA). The packaging of the products is not child resistant, posing a risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.

 

Remedy: Product Discontinued & Refund

Consumers should immediately store the product in a safe location out of reach of children.   Best Nutritionals LLC is contacting all purchasers directly. Refund would be provided (this would only apply to those who still have the product)

The product was sold in 4 fl oz. “Organic Wintergreen Essential Oil” and the firm’s logo is printed on the green and orange label. The UPC 817716016719 is printed on the back side of the label.
